"Amadablam" — the VideoScott just finished the production of his second recording, featuring his new trio “Neu3”. Michael Blake (saxophones) and Mark Helias (bass) bring their very personal creative identity and fearless improvisation to Scott’s music and the trio’s sound. Sonic guru Frank Fagnano engineered and mixed the session recorded at Bennett Studios of Englewood, NJ on April 30, 2011. Award-winning filmmaker Dennis Connors has captured the creative process on two of the songs — Ama Dablam and Blessed, written by Scott Neumann — in two beautifully shot videos from the recording session. Look for a release of the recording coming soon!

Scott recorded with Russ Spiegal’s band Uncommon Knowledge. The band has been together for the past two years and is a regular at NYC’s jazz hotspot The Zinc Bar. Russ is very accomplished guitarist, composer and arranger. And, fellow band members Tim Armacost, Mike Eckroth and bassist Gary Wang are all exemplary musicians who are fine bandleaders in their own right. The collaborative talent of the members makes for some truly remarkable music.
