Upon entering their third year of Monday nights at the venerable NYC jazz club Smoke, the Bill Mobley Jazz Orchestra released a live recording from the venue. Hard swing, interesting forms, rich harmonies and lyricism are all cornerstones of this ensemble’s sound.
